Remote Car starters CS423 - Colour range

The new CS423 SERIES has a brand new transmitter and the following
brand new installation optional security convenience features.

Two Negative (-) trigger inputs which will sound the horn if either input is
triggered. Applications : Hood ,Door, Trunk, Hatch, Sensor Etc..
Ignition Tamper Circuit- This programmable feature will sound the horn if
system detects 12 volts on the ignition wire whenever the system is armed.
Prevents tampering.
A dedicated Horn output has been added to compliment the listed
security features.
A 2 Stage Unlock Output option is available if Driver's Priority Unlock is
requested.
4 Channel 3 Button SAW Transmitter(s) : CS423 has new sleek
ergonomic 3 Button 4 channel Transmitters. Separate Buttons for Start,
Lock and Unlock.
SAW resonator in each Transmitter for increased reliability and range.
Double pulse disarm output in addition to the available Double pulse
Unlock output.
Transmitter Programming and Function programming procedure. Allows
installer to program multiple transmitters, skip to a select function, confirm
function settings. Faster , Easier.
LED output allows for use of a 3 volt non flashing LED. The
Microprocessor controlled LED output will provide system diagnostics
during installation as well as system status for user .
Works safely on both automatic and manual ** transmission vehicles.

* Note: Operating range can be affected by atmosphere, type of vehicles,
and RF noise.

Standard Features:

Auto or Manual Transmission - DIRECTSTART can be safely installed on
either automatic or manual transmission vehicles. Removing an onboard
jumper activates manual mode. Once the jumper is removed, 2 included
safety circuits must be connected, these safety circuits ensure that the
driver can only remote start the vehicle when the vehicle is in neutral and
the hand brake is ON. Transmitter(s):DIRECTSTART® will operate with
either a toggling Transmitter (lock and unlock on same button) or a 4
channel transmitter which features separate channels for Lock and
Unlock. DIRECTSTART® automatically detects which type of transmitter is
being programmed.
6 Transmitter Capability: Each system can learn up to 6 different
transmitters.
Door Lock Outputs-Positive &amp; Negative: 500 ma transistorized
doorlock outputs function with either positive or negative door lock type
systems, making installations simpler, faster, easier.
Doorlock Timing-Programmable: The length of the door lock and unlock
pulses are programmable to accommodate most domestic and import
doorlock systems. Nissan, Mercedes, GM.
Rearm/Relock through Doorlock Wire-Programmable: This feature
reduces the total number of connections required for vehicles which
require a Rearm/Relock pulse either after remote starting or after remote
start shutdown or both.
Dedicated Rearm/Relock (-) Output-programmable: The system features
an additional dedicated programmable Re-arm / Relock 500mA Output.
Flexibility in Rearm / relock options allows for faster, easier and cheaper
installations. Like the above option this output can be programmed to send
a negative pulse 4 seconds after remote starting or 6 seconds after remote
start shutdown, or both after starting and after shut down.
Dedicated Disarm Output-Programmable:DIRECTSTART® features a
dedicated programmable 500-ma output (0.5 second and 1.0 second)
which can be used to disarm a factory security system before remote
starting and unlocking of doors and trunk. NEW!! Double Disarm Pulse to
disarm 2000 Volkswagen. This output can also be programmed to send a
pulse 4 seconds after remote starting (relock) or to trigger defrost.
Ground/Negative Out when Running-Programmable: This output is
primarily used to activate a circuit that temporarily bypasses various types
of factory immobilizers systems when remote starting. When used with a
bypass kit or circuit this output will activate the bypass only when remote
starting thereby keeping the factory security intact. This 500mA output can
be programmed for either a constant ground when remote start is running
or a 1 second pulsed output before remote starting/ unlocking.
2nd Ignition Output: The CS-100 has a built in 6 amp 2nd Ignition Output
which makes installation on GM and other vehicles which have 2 or more
ignition wires a snap.
Diesel Engine Glow Plug Time-out: OPTION #1 involves no extra parts or
installation and works for most Diesel engines. System can be
programmed to Time Out and start engine 12 seconds after ignition has
powered up.
Diesel Engine Glow Plug Monitor: OPTION #2 involves CONNECTING to
and monitoring the glow plug. Once glow plug light goes out remote starter
will crank starter. System will also ignore glow plug if it comes back on
after engine has started. (GM).
Audible Horn Confirmation-programmable: System has a programmable
500 Ma output which can be connected to the factory horn. Programmable
options incl.:
a) Remote start confirmation
b) Lock/Unlock confirmation
c) Lock confirmation
on 2nd press of Lock Button only and no Unlock confirmation.
Panic Mode: System has 500mA output which can be programmed to
sound horn and flash parking lights as long as the lock button is held
down.
Programming Playback: System will Playback all the selected
programming options in memory by flashing park lights 1, 2 or 3 times
quickly depending on the option selected.
Programmable Trunk Output (Option output): A negative 500mA 3rd
channel output can be programmed to operate when Ignition is either On
or Off.
Programmable Ignition Lock: System can be programmed to lock doors
when Ignition is on and brakes are pressed.
Cold Weather Start Mode: Cold weather start mode is user activated by a
single press of a button. Once activated will start engine every 2 hours and
run for preset runtime.
Programmable Run Time: The run time can be programmed for either a
5, 15 or 20 minute run time.
Programmable Crank Cycles: The number of times the unit attempts to
start the engine is programmable between 2, 3 or 4 attempts.
Programmable Crank Time: The length of time the unit will crank the
starter motor is programmable between 6, 8 or 12 seconds.
AutomaticTach Learning: The Tach programming mode is designed to
take the guess work out of establishing the proper Tach setting. The
installer friendly Tach learning sequence will program the ideal Tach
setting for each vehicle. * A manual Tach adjustment feature will also allow
the installer to manually adjust or fine tune the Tach setting up or down.
Sequential Programming:DIRECTSTART® features 14 sequential
programming features, which automatically prompt you to the next
programmable function once a selection has been made. Parking lights
will confirm selection.
System Bypass/Override with Ignition Key: Service mode allows user to
turn off Remote Start and optional Starter Interrupt Circuit with the ignition
key. No hidden switches to install or service, less hassle for end user. 34
second delayed entry into Service Mode increases overall security and
convenience.
Manual Transmission Option: The DIRECTSTART® has an On Board
Manual Transmission setting which converts the system from an
automatic remote start system to a manual transmission remote start
system. Once setting is changed, system will require several compulsory
safety connections including Hand brake and Door trigger Inputs. An
additional required exiting procedure called Remote Start Ready Mode
ensures a safe remote starting sequence. No extra hardware is required.
Starter Disable Output-programmable:DIRECTSTART® features an
ARMED OUTPUT which can be used to install a relay to interrupt the
starter. The output is programmable for passive or active arming.
Anti-Grind:DIRECTSTART® provides full time anti-grind whenever a
starter interrupt relay is installed
